the boys were SO excited when i told them where we were going, to a "big pool." talan still didn't understand it and kept running to the bedroom window to look outside and see if i had set the pool up again.
mom and dad came over to hang out and nancy and isaac came for a little while as well.
hayden was super brave and couldn't wait to get his floaties on and jump in. not long after, he got out of the pool, climbed up the steps to the slide and came right down without giving it a second thought. by the end of the day hayden took his floaties off and was practicing to swim in the shallow end. he does a GREAT job swimming underwater!
talan liked to hang out on the big step in the shallow end and just splash and play in the "fountains" with jessica. towards the end of the day he did get a little braver and started floating around in his floaties.
at one point, talan went down to the 2nd step on his hands and would start saying "help me! help me!" just to get attention.
we were there for pretty much the whole day and had a great time. hayden was not happy when it was time to go home!
